Illinois City, IL - gas station and restaurant; general store east of the restaurant

Looking northwest at the intersection of Illinois State Route 92 and 238th Street W, Illinois City, Illinois. Note the small diner, with the Pepsi Cola sign, and the Texaco service station. The service station, today, is the Illinois City Fire Department. The diner is gone. Also note the small Royal Blue grocery store, with the Standard gasoline pumps out front. Note the pre-1946 (!!!) Standard Service sign next to the pumps, which are in the post-1961 image!! The store building lasted until, at least, July of 2018. The diner was already gone.
