My parents worked this 360 acre and raised six kids from about 1947 - 1985. The house underwent many changes such as adding a basement, bathroom and enclosed porches. The chicken house on the north and barn were built. The acreage was sold to a neighbor that rented out the house. A fire started in the basement perhaps 10 years ago. The entire acreage was razed and now has hog confinements on it. Sad……I saved one cement block from the basement (my foundation)
