Arghh, I thought it was Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kansas but it just looks a lot like it

These mystery Mondays are getting harder... Nice photo.

It appears that the headstones are all aligned towards the camera and the shadows are slightly to our left. I would say we are viewing from the northwest looking southeast.

The rose window, single bell tower and overstyle indicate Romanesque or Gothic (?) but no real clues to the denomination of the church.

I have to agree with Randy about viewing direction, I think the Church runs south to north and we are viewing from southeast. I have looked at so many files of churches, cemeteries, and schools, my eyes are a blur.

Maybe another bell tower has been added or another entry has been built...is that a parking lot to the back right?

I have looked in KS, IA, OH, IL, IN, MS (quickly)........all denominations, but mostly catholic. Even found a site with a list of the sounds of the bells in different belfry's and looked at ALL of those with pics...arg! I do notice that the cemetery must still be used because of the flat headstones rather than upright, to the back....just assuming...(I know, never assume anything). Have checked farming communities, the term rural, I am at a loss, so why do I keep coming back. I should have said something about the easy ones!

One more thing, the pine tree next door is already over the walk to the right front of church yard....either it has been cut up very high, or cut down.

I take back my last statement, the headstones in the back are not flat....I zoomed at 400% and they are standing.

Go any clues for us Sam?

Maybe we could get a hint of at least what state this is in! HELP!! making me nuts and blind. and I swear now that I see the imprint at the beginning of the lawn near the walkway, on the left, of a fish...anyone else see it?

CLUE - You might need to swim through 10,000 lakes to find what you are looking for. :)

Thanks for the clu, that narrows it down to 6 states and two places in Canada...piece of cake now! lol
