This was the old β€œFresno Barn”. It was a venue where a lot of famous country musicians performed in the 1940’s & 1950’s. It closed down probably 60 years ago. The barn is still there but it’s in really bad shape. It looks like it might collapse soon.

The Big Fresno Barn "Once referred to as Nashville West, it was once the home venue for Bob Wills and the legendary Texas Playboys, but also visited by many country music greats like Hank Williams, Maddox Brothers and Rose, Johnny Russell, Little Jimmy Dickens, Lefty Frizzell, Marty Robbins, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, and numerous other legendary artists."

Who owns it now? My son just discovered this and is big into the country music history of Fresno, which has never been celebrated.
