This is our original family farm. 2980 County Rd 2500 E. We sold it December 11th 1974. The barns are long gone. The garage on the left was still standing last time I was by there (I almost drove our loader tractor, an International 340 utility out the back wall from the open door) The big tree in front of the house I fell from the very top when the branch I was on gave out. Dad was certain I was dead lol.
As kids, we would take a sheet of cardboard up to the top of the roof of the back (2nd) barn and slide down the roof. You could get up quite a bit of speed on those cedar shakes. There was a horse (watering) tank in between and slightly to the right of the barns we would swim in. Lots of memories there.
