My dad became the tenant farmer at this location in 1964. I grew up here from the age of 7 until leaving for college at 18.....and then returned to take over the farm operation in 1992 at the age of 35. Since that time, the landscape has changed tremendously. The house pictured has been replaced with a new home on the opposite side of the driveway in 1996, the garage behind it is gone, the little summer kitchen is gone and all out buildings are gone except for the two bins. Dad added two more grain bins in the same line as those pictured while he was here and also added a new shop and machine shed on the northeast corner of the lot in 1975. We have added two larger bins to the left or west of those pictured. Many of the trees have been replaced due to age and flower beds added. This sure brings back memories!
