This is the old USI Cornfield Chemicals plant swimming pool. It was closed I think in the 80s unfortunately as it was a superior pool to the on in Tuscola. It was located very close to the Kaskaskia River as well, just north and west of Ficklin and the water treatment plant for USI.
It was an awesome pool! I loved the high dive diving board.
