Photo 39-WDO-11

Comments

This photo has two homes in it. The house at the top of the photo is the house that we called home for all of our childhood. My parents owned the house at the time of the photo and lived here for 51 years. After they died, my wife and I purchased the home. The address today is 134 West Kemp Street, Arcola, IL and when I was growing up here, it was RR1 Box 71, Arcola, IL and before that, I know it had at least two other addresses, but I do not remember those.

The house at the bottom of the picture was built by Earl Newman (who had originally owned my parent's house as well. He sold it to John and Cheryl Smith and they lived there until it burned down in a house fire.
