Every friday night many of the locals gathered in the back corner of the store to watch Gunsmoke. There was a small B&W portable TV on a top shelf and an old church pew or bench and several chairs. We made the trip to Webster on a regular basis when I was a kid staying at my grandfather's farm east of Fountsin Green.
