My grandparents farm until 1962

Hi Nancy! How fascinating that your grandparents had a farm in Kendall County! We would love to learn more about their farming experience. Can you recall what type of farming they did? Also, since the photo was taken in 1965, it's interesting to think about how things might have changed since then. Can you think of any notable changes or memories from that time?

My Grandfather, Chester Rasmusen , was a dairy farmer when he was there and I am thinking that it was his family farm for at least 2 generations. His brother Arthur married Honor Brodie ( Brodie Rd) from the farm directly to the south. My grandparents sold to Porter Jarvis
