RavenGlen farm now gone
Raven glen farm now lake county forest preserve lived here when Golden Oaks owned it until sold in 99 or 2000
Was this a dairy farm in 1948'49? Was owned by a veterinarian. And raised prize winning bulls? If so we lived there. Mom cooked for us and boarders that worked on the farm. It had a bottomless lake.
West side of 45 south of 173. I remember there was two houses in the front.
First time I met Tiny Sheehan ,he was working here.he lived just to the south.
My grandfather owned this farm and he had multiple business in Chicago. Know for the prize winner Inka bull . It was called the Inka farms.
Mike Jenkins, what year was that? I was about 4 and we lived in the big white house with red brick porch. If I remember right. My dad was manager and went to school in Chicago to learn about bull breading.
Late 40s into early 60s
