With the San Jose, Illinois water tower, and the San Jose CO-OP dominating the photo, we’re looking southwest. Of note, in the lower RH corner, you will see the depot of the Gulf, Mobile and Ohio, ex-Alton Railroad. Vine Street is seen crossing the railroad to the south of the depot. Linden Street is in the upper LH corner.
