Wells Family Farm. Paul Wells lives there now.

Paul is my father. He is 91 and still lives there. My 2 sisters and I were raised there. Lots of changes in the last 51 years: 4 more grain bins were built, old corn crib was torn down and replaced with a storage shed, house was torn down and replaced, and the old building next to trees was torn down.

Dad and Mom purchased the farm where we grew up in 1966. Mom passed away in 1974. Dad and his brother Donald ( Doc) farmed together for over 50 years. They retired in 2006.

Hello Mark,
Thank you for sharing your family story with us. Do you know the year the house was torn down? What kind farm was this?
I have pinned the location on the map, does this look correct?

Nathan: the house was torn down in 1991. It’s a grain farm: corn and soybeans.

Hi Mark,
Just below the picture on the right hand side (or directly below on mobile) is map with a blue pin, we believe this may be the location of the house, could you verify this pin?

The pin is correct.
