This is Barker's trucking company and lake.
My grandparents, Cecil and Virginia Johnson sold the property to Ruby Barker and her husband. Upon clearing the property in the 1960s, grandpa discovered grade A sand and made a sandpit. To the left of the lake, he made Virginia Street named after my grandma. He lotted off the street and gave each of his 8 children a lot to build houses on.
