Just south of Wenona, Illinois is where you will find this Texaco gas station. Illinois 17 East, at this point, joins U.S. 51 North, for 2-1/2 miles through Wenona, then continues east towards Dwight, Kankakee, and eventually Indiana. Station is gone, and U.S. 51 has been rerouted to Interstate 39, and this alignment is now Illinois Route 251.
