I believe this is the intersection of 120 and Lily Lake Rd. There are stoplights there now.

Station 3 of the McHenry Township Fire District is located at 809 Rand Rd. (Rte. 120) at the corner of Lily Lake Rd. N.. In 1956, the Lily Lake Fire Department merged with the McHenry Township Fire District. In 1971, the above station was built and is currently in use today.
The J&L Gas Station at 810 Rand Road in Lakemoor is now a Citgo Gas Station. To the far right outside the photo is now the River East Public Library formerly the McHenry-Nunda Township Public Library. A new library building was built at 813 W. Route 120 and opened in November 1983.
