Hi Juanita, thanks for commenting! We're curious to know more about the photo you're referring to. What memories does that photo bring up for you? We love hearing stories about growing up in rural areas. Was 1983 a significant year for your family or the area? -Alexis
I was raised at this place. Many happy memories thru the years
I was raised at this place. Many happy memories thru the years. I was busy each day. Feeding the chickens, gathering eggs, butchering the young fryers, the capons in the fall, milking the cows by hand, hoeing in the huge garden, helping with the hay , loading and putting in the barn for the feed in the winter, sleding, playing ball, mowing grass with a small cylinder blade, helping take water to the men in the field when threshing wheat, watching the northern lights and the fireworks on the 4th of July.
Hi Juanita, thank you for sharing such wonderful memories with us. It sounds like you were very busy growing up! We're curious if you remember anything specific about the year 1983 when the photo was taken? Also, have there been any major changes to the property since then? It's always so interesting to see how things have evolved over time.
Everything is gone. The house burned-out. All the building are torn down
