This is where my mother grew up. My Grandparents lived here all of their married lives. It had been in the family since it was first built. The barn and house still stand, but neither are in good shape. I don't believe anyone lives there although the barn is still used I believe. I have very fond memories of the place. I spent a lot of time here until my grandmother died (here) in 1981 and grandpa a few years later in 1985. Was the farm of Coralyn and Edwin Kuhlmeyer.
This was the Edwin Kuhlmeyer Farm. My Grandpa lived there all his life. My Grandmother Coralyn married grandpa and lived there from 1929 to 1981 when she passed away there. My sisters and I have very fond memoires of being with them as often as we could as children. They retired from farming in 1969 but continued to live there. My Great-Grandparents lived there from approx. 1901. Prior to that it belonged to my Great-great uncle Frederick who built the farm.
