This was the old Twin Lakes (bathing beach) opened around 1947 near the village of North Pekin.
Located on the Corner of Rt 24 (Radio City Drive) and West Lane.
The beach as long since closed and over the years various businesses have taken up the space.
As a kid this was a great swimming hole!

On the corner of Rt 29 (not 24) and West lane, the water is still clear and cool, with great fishing! Now occupied by Dentino's Landscape Materials
