Ellis Grade School. When I went to school, this was the Junior High. 6th - 8th grades.

I went to Jr. High at Ellis. The original one-room schoolhouse is on the right in this photo and served as the bus garage at the time this was taken.

In 1966 the date of this photo Ellis hadn’t consolidated yet and was still a stand alone 1-8 school in a 3-room building.
