My parents bought this property in 1945, we moved there on Dec. 31, 1945. No electricity, running water or telephone. My father built the garage and gas station(the white building). Cottonwood School was across U.S. 30( the Lincoln Highway). I lived there until 1957. My mother sold the property in 1958.
