The old Hurd farm. My family lived here from the early 50's through 75 on a lease agreement. Stud distances in the walls suggest that the center portion was built 1st and two wings added later. The house was originally built in the mid 1800s. It had a wrap around porch on the close end until it became too damaged to be safe. It was a wonderful place to spend your childhood.
It sat empty for 30 or so years before the owner began fixing it up. Personal situations ended his attempt. Today the house is empty and probably beyond repair.
