My grandparents, Mary and Shirley Howard David lived in the principle house in this photo until their deaths (i.e., in the mid 1970βs). My parents, Robert Lee McCracken and Beulah Irene David McCracken, had the single story house on the left of the photo built after Dad retired from the USAF. He had been a fighter pilot and taught others to fly jet planes. The two car garage for the main house was built by my grandfather from wood he carefully took from the farmβs original cow/chicken barn. Grandpa was in his 70βs when he undertook that project.
Cousins are you sure??? Where are the lakes???
βThe lakesβ may not have been finished at the time this photo was taken. Check picture number 33 and you will see a part of the βlower lakeβ.
The lakes were finished long before these were taken. They were built before my Dad went to Germany.
