DON AND MAXINE MOORE FARM

The old house has been remodeled and added onto and there is a new house to the east of the driveway two new garages north of old house and part of the old milk barn has been taken down Two ponds added to south of new house down by county road. I am a grandson ( mother was their oldest Donna Sue Moore).

This is my grandpa’s farm. My uncle lives there now.

I'm a granddaughter. This was a grade A Dairy farm.hay fields and farmed fields.the silo was always full to feed the cows..milk man came on saturdays.my uncles kept meat on the table and there was nothing my mom Moore couldnt cook.thats what I called my grandma and dad Moore was my grandpa.we had lots of coon dogs and traps for the winter.we sold fur .fish from first creek and swimmed in the ponds.no more cattle .old farm house all redone new home was built on the hill just right of the old 3 bed room farm house.we heated with and old wood stove in living room.it is now heated with gas.,this home raised 8 children of my grand parent along with us grand kids.you was always welcome you would be fed and sent home with a fu)ll belly and a hair cut if mom Moore thought you needed it.
