This is the old Smith farm on Co Road 525 northeast of Glendale. Andrew and Elizabeth Smith and their seven children, Mary, Fidelis (Del), Paul, Patrick, Vincent, Raphael (Ray) and Joseph, (my father) lived there. It was a 64 acre farm, with about half of it tillable. In his later years, my Dad bought it from Vincent and had to tear the house down. He kept a camper there for some years. He sold it and there is now a newer house on the property. My Dad was the last member of the family to pass on, which he did in 2008, just a month shy of his 95th birthday
