This was my grandparent's farm back in the early 1960s. Grandpa Henry Forkert died in 1964 and my grandmother, Myrtle Forkert,moved into town, which was Greensburg, Indiana.
I remember spending a lot of time in that house there, and the barn too! I loved going into the barn to look for things. We lived just a few miles a way, so we grandkids would sometimes sneak over there without telling our mom.....
