I lived in the house to the right in this picture from the time it was built in 1973 to 1976...it was the first house built to house staff members of Elkhart Baptist Church. The farm house in the center of the photo was owned by Mr. Cook, a gentle elderly man who befriended me. I was five when we moved in and he taught me a lot of things that I still remember. Both houses were demolished to put the overpass in for the 20 bypass. Great memories,
