Looks like the jct of 54 and 59 north of Linton possibly

This may be earlier than 1973. This looks to be the "triangle" north of Linton where SR 54 & SR 59 split. This is prior to "Jack Wheeler Ford (Open til 9, isn't that fine)" being built behind what is a Phillips 66 in this photo. Just SW of this picture is where WBTO AM radio used to be located.
