John Klinger farm

I spent many of my summers there with Uncle John and learned how to prepare a cow for milking and stripping after the machines were taken off . That meant I was up at 4 am. Loved every minute. Knew every cow's name and Uncle John would tell me ... "Get curly, freckles, etc. I knew all his cows by name. Between the two worlds offered to me during my summers growing up, one with my aunt and uncle in WI, and being a part of a 10 children family, and my time with Uncle John, I had a great childhood. As for Uncle John and all the Foster Children he mentored he was a man in a thousand that gave so much of himself. I flew in for his memorial and was amazed on how many of the children he mentored and was now all grown up there to remember him and to express their appreciation for all lhe did for them.

All the outbuildings (brick small buildings - approx 10) are gone,.
