Calvertville Church

My grandparents lived very close to this church ... on the same rode to the left of this picture. This is the church my father and his 9 brothers and sisters attended as they were growing up. My mother's funeral was held in this church in 1954. As a young man, I rode my bike from Bloomfield to visit my grandparents. I often stooped in the general store which was near this church for a beverage. I have wonderful memories of this part of the world.

My grandparents lived on top the hill across the road from here. Mishlers. and Hunters were across the road from them at the time. hunters later built up the road a piece. My grandma, Eva Mishler went to church here.
