This is my Grandparents, Leland and Mae Carson's home on Cal Carson Rd, Cicero, Indiana.( the previous aerial photo also) I loved visiting them every summer and Christmas!! ( and sometimes at other holidays) My mother Ruth and her brother John, grew up here. What great memories I have from here!! This barn is no longer there, they had it knocked down and burried instead of spending the money on much needed repairs in the 1980's. We use to climb in the barn and on the white gas tank out back of the house. My grandfather and uncle ran an insurance company from a small office attached to the side of the home, " Carson Insurance Agency". My Uncle John eventually took it over.

After my Mom and uncle sold the farm when my Grandmother passed in 1993, the owners moved the entrance door back to the front of the home under the gable, as it was originally years ago. ( before my time- I'm 60) At some point a different garage burned down. I'm not sure what yr that was and if this photo shows the original or the new garage?
