The Boyer farm on 300 W.(used to be st.rd. 221)just north of 400 south north of Lancaster. The pond was built to dump manure in if I remember correctly. The large barn and house are still there, but I believe all of the other out buildings are gone.

When my Dad was young, Roger Boyer would let the local teenage boys play ice hockey. They would take shovels and brooms and clear off all the snow. He was the only one around who used a pond for manure to help contain the smell.
