My husband Don and family grew up here. After we were married we lived here for about 2 1/2 years. After we moved out a few years later there was a fire in the house. House has been replaced with new one. however, no one lives in it now and it is going down hill. Barn, garage and shed behind house is still there.
I grew up here, brings back very fond memories, I was adopted by an amazing family! lived here from when I was 8 years old until we moved to town, when I was in 7th grade. Played many of hrs in the Barn, and helping my Dad around the farm. The memories of this place will always hold a special place in my heart.
This is my first real home where I was shown what unconditional love was all about. Memories sweet memories!
This was my wife's families house all thru the 80's and 90's. They were in it until it burnt down. The barn was the Post and Rail Herb barn until the fire. They rebuilt a house and continued to live there until the construction dump was built around them and they were forced out.
It is on Rt. 2 in North Hayden just east of the tracks.
