This is the farm I was born on located at 3660 W 800 N Wawaka. The large white shed is gone, as it the milk house near the barn. Also the round grain ben. The house remains. There is also a new home north of the barn. The farm is owned by my daughter and her husband, Jeff and JoNel Kurtz. Most of the late trees are gone, but the pine tree in the yard and the sycamore tree near the barn remain. An interesting story about the sycamore tree. When I was a child (65 years ago) the tree had a large opening in the base - it was big enough for we small kids to get inside. Later, my dad used the opening to put broken steel fence posts in. The opening has since healed itself. Someone will be in for a big surprise when they cut the tree down!

I should have mentioned that Jeff and JoNel Kurtz built a new home which is located near where the lane turns to the east at the upper center of the photographs (where the cornfield is shown).
