This farm belonged to my parents, Justin and Barbara (Adams) McLallin, who built the 2 bedroom house around 1950-51. After this photo was taken, Justin planted a row of pine trees to the left of the driveway and several tulip trees to border the back and side yard. The home was sold in the mid 1980's and had square footage added to the main level and an entire 2nd story.
Was it the farm of Gerald brother à little further away taking the dirt road for half a mile or so?
Yes, Jean-Marie. When I was young I would ride my bike down the lane to Uncle Gerald's so Pia and I could play. Great memories (except for the grasshoppers jumping on my legs while I pedaled my bike furiously down the lane in summer!)
Thanks for the feed back Ann. Where you live now and how old are you? I am north of France in Dunkerque I am 63. Visited Peggy last October in Ligonier.
I just turned 65 in August and live in Venice FL with my husband Bill. We love it here but still take trips up to Ohio, Washington DC to see our 3 children and their families. My brother Kerry still lives in Indiana, 2 hr drive from farm.
