I lived here in the late 70's/early 80's. We found it in bad shape, the home needing a lot of work and the barn falling down. We tracked down who owned the farm ground that had this house on it and they said they'd planned to burn it down. They let us buy it with the small patch of ground around it. The home and barn has old hand hewn beams. The barn was worth saving and we made the necessary repairs to put it back in usable condition.
