Viola School in Viola Township. Built in 1922 and it served in the beginning, as kindergarten through high school. I attended Viola from 5th grade through 8th grade which was the highest grade level in 1963 at which time I went to high school in Audubon in the Fall of 1963. My dad graduated from high school at Viola in 1935. A couple of years or so ago, the school was demolished, along with the house, which had been burned earlier.
