In 1895 the Lentz family lived here: Bernard and Margaret and their twelve children. Nine out of the twelve were born in this house. The property was right next to highway 30 and also the railroad running parallel to the highway. Back in the early 1900's the father, Bernard, would go into Beaver to catch a train to ride into Ogden to get his haircut. The family lived here until about 1920 when they moved on up north to Chickasaw County. They took the train to move their livestock and possessions up north. The house is now gone (in 2011), along with all of the outbuildings, but the color of the house was green back in 1979.
