Chickasaw County Home. Used to be the poor farm. I think the building has been demolished or replaced. On highway 63 south of New Hampton
Most of the out buildings are gone. the main county Home was replaced with a new building about 1969 was maintained and operated by agencies to provide services for Mentally Ill and disabled. Closed in June of 2022.
