From my visit to the farm in September 2017 the address is 21308 245th Street, Yarmouth, IA 52660. My grandparents (Edward and Lulu Holsteen) used to own this farm (Cloverdale Farm - which is what I believe you can see painted on the barn with the year (1926?)) from the early 1900s to 1982ish, which they operated as a typical family farm. Ironically, although their last name was "Holsteen", and they owned Holstein cows, the farm was never operated as a Holstein cow dairy farm. My grandparents raised 8 children, none of which stayed to work the farm, and so the farm was eventually sold to its present owner. They are trying to keep the farm as is was for so many years and are rebuilding old fence lines, planting new trees where the old ones were, and generally fixing up the farm, which we greatly appreciate. Many good memories of the place.
