This is the house I grew up in. In the mid 70's, my father Jon Jacobson, found the ruins of this cabin outside Galena, IL, salvaged as much original wood of the original and built this cabin as close to the original as possible. We lived there until the early 1990's.

If memory serves, the log cabin was found in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin before it was moved to Cascade.
