Hi Jason! We're glad to hear that most of the buildings in the photo are still standing and in use. Do you remember any specific memories or stories from the time when the photo was taken in 1975? We'd love to hear more about what life was like in Franklin County back then. Also, did you or your family engage in any particular type of farming on the property?

My family didn't purchase this farm until mid 80's. We are grain and livestock farmers. I enjoy history and am proud of the history of the place. Used to be the county farm. As a kid, everyone around knew exactly where and what the county farm was. Most knew somebody that had resided here.
