I grew up here from 1962 to 1977, but my parents continued to live here until 1993. Once a place where barns were used for farrowing and finishing, the barns are now long gone and the house is the only original building on the acreage. It was a wonderful place to grow up with new kittens every spring in the hay mow, a border collie named Lassie that loved to herd baby pigs, and a creek made for wading and discovering tadpoles.
