I now own this property at 2273 kingbird ave. There are now many buildings missing and one of the silos

Hi Derrick! It's fascinating to hear that you now own the property on Kingbird Ave. In the 1970 photo, we noticed some missing buildings and a silo. We'd love to learn more about the changes that have taken place over the years. Can you recall any specific memories or stories from that time period? Was farming a primary activity on the property?

The previous family owned the property from the 1930s all the way through 2021 when I purchased it. They were active in farming. Most of the structures were missing prior to my purchase of the property. The house, barn, shop, chicken coop, and cement building still remain. I lost the corn crib in a fire on Christmas of 2022
