Appel farm. I lived here from 1970 through high school and college. The old dairy barn was torn down and replaced with a new one and the silo with the (now faded) red and white top shortly after this. The barn to the left (west) was also torn down and replaced with a new cattle shed. The house still had the original stucco at this time. Most of the other outbuildings were replaced over the years. Fond memories.
