This is our family farm. My great, great grandfather purchased it from the Iowa and Dubuque Railroad in 1881 for $6.00 per acre. Not much has changed with the layout, but the trees are different and the buildings are a little worn out. It was a great place to spend as a kid from the city. I had my last visit just a week ago and now it is going to a new owner after 137 years. I was very excited to see this photo.
