I grew up in a big white house toward the bottom of the picture. It was my Grandma's house and I was told it once was the old Hinton Hotel in the early 1900s and also housed the sheriff's office at one time. My sister's bedroom still had a wall lined with shelves of dusty old books that used to be a library!
Sadly, It's long gone now. The property was finally bought from her by the co-op after the last few silos blocked the main sunlight from her enormous garden, which was her life. It was demolished and burned only a day or 2 before being declared a landmark. Today, it would and SHOULD be standing in the Plymouth County Fairground! My life began right here and my heart will be there forever. I hope those memories never fade...
