I lived here with my grandparents in 1941 - 1946. I have an original aerial photo with all the original buildings. The roofless barn is being torn down in this picture. My picture shows this barn with another barn that burned, the smokehouse, the outhouse, the pig pens and the chicken houses. Grandpa's brother and his family lived on the farm to the north and his sister and her husband lived across the road and to the south. The house was originally two houses. One half of the house was across the road to the south. It was rolled across the road on logs and attached to the back. My grandparents raised 8 children, aq nephew and me in this house.
