This farm is located in Section 22, Viola Township, originally owned by John Goeman, a Ostfriesland immigrant. It was later given to Clasina Jacobs, his daughter and the land remained in her family through the 1950's and farmed by her daughter and son-in-law, the Fischers. It has been farmed by the Fischers for a number of years. The acreage is still a workable place.
