Yes-grew up here my whole life-the family farm-and it is still in the family! There is now a trailer on the farm and a new shop!
Walter and Doris (Peterson) Bender farm at the time this was taken. They were my Grandparents on my mothers (Beverly Heffern) side; spent most of my summers as a kid here. I was 6 years old this year.
This was the Bender Family Farm established in 1886. My Grandfather (Adam) had the existing house built in 1911. My Dad (Walter)was born at home in 1912 and I was born in this house as well in 1942. My parents (Walter & Doris (Peterson) Bender) received the Century Farm Award in 1986.
